Good Information Design results in the clear and effective presentation of big and versatile data. It combines skills in Graphic Design, Writing, and Human Factors to make complex information easier to understand. By these means, Leonidas Kanellos studied Graphic Design, Typography & Visual Arts back in the 80ties. From the very start he entered the world of Digital Graphics and for over 35 years he managed to run from his studios in Athens, successfully business projects in collaboration with a wide range of small and large scale business all over Greece and abroad. Changes in society, technology and information are always reflected in the current state of Design. Designers are stretching the limits of matter and self expression in a effort to make creations of great impact. This endeavor cannot be separated from the real world. Information Design - as we like to name it – changes across operation systems, platforms - devices and data transfer systems. It is the new adaptation of data by all means. New words and orientations of the era came across: Information Architecture, User Interface, User Experience, Interaction behaviors. Interpreting the messages, transforming the visuals and sending information and data into this old-new world is an advantage for people, communities and business. The adaptation of sites due different viewports has became a standard. Typography, advanced visuals, animations, vectors and images helps the Designer, with the analogue or the archaic knowledge to get accustomed to the new means of communication. Web design now is more communicative than ever. Analyzing the trends, get to know the future, update the frameworks and finally how a user behaves emerging from different cultures and surroundings, is my scope.
